look up, down, right, and left before crossing

This in from Kathmandu. Quite an adjustment being here after the calm, if a bit underwhelming, atmosphere of Bhutan. Navigating the streets of this metropolis requires running, jumping, squeezing, ducking, circumabulating…just about any motion you can think of. The stimuli are never-ending and the smog is thick, thick, and thicker; and yet the place has some sort of lopsided charm that I can’t fully process yet. More before I head off into the mountains again early next week…
